Rowan is an award winning actor and improviser. He was selected as a Creative Ambassador for NIDA in 2017-2018 to promote the Performing Arts in Australia.

Rowan Harris has created a number of narrative show formats which have been toured nationally and internationally, including 'The Holey Book', with Finegan Kruckemeyer, 'Our Place' with Matt Wilson, 'Sciprov' for Science in the Pub, 'The Chair' and 'MomentUs'. Rowan founded the first Long-form improvisation ensemble in Tasmania, 'Imprognosis' and was a co-founder of PROTEA Impro. Having presented and delivered workshops and productions of Improvised Theatre across Australia, producing seasons for Burning Desire Festival (2021) and Hobart's Festival of Improvised Theatre (2022), Rowan is active in developing the art-form of Improvisation in Australia. Rowan has been a teacher of Musical Theatre, Theatre Performance and Technical Theatre Production at Hobart College, Tasmania for over a decade.
